We’re Nevermore Weddings & Events, a woman-owned, LGBTQIA+-owned event company based in Frederick, Maryland, creating memorable gatherings for people who would rather have a good time than follow the usual rules.

While we do weddings, that’s not all we do. We’re here for the fun stuff, too: singles events, parties, drag shows, community gatherings, fundraisers, and all the wonderfully weird things in between.

In a world where so much of life happens behind a screen, we’re creating real, in-person opportunities to connect, meet new people, make friends, find a date, dance, laugh, and occasionally make a questionable decision or two. Our goal is simple: bring good people together, create spaces where everyone feels welcome, and make it possible to have a great time without making it financially inaccessible.

We offer event planning and coordination, food service staffing, bartending, rentals, and ceremony officiation throughout Maryland and the surrounding DMV. Every event is different, so we customize our services and pricing to fit what you actually need, not what some cookie-cutter package says you need.

We’re certified, insured, detail-obsessed, and backed by an award-winning team that genuinely gives a shit about the experience we’re creating.

We’re relatively new to producing these types of events, and, well... we all know dating is hard. We’re learning, listening, tweaking, and doing our absolute best to create fun, welcoming, inclusive, and financially accessible ways for people to meet each other.

Not every event will be perfect. Not every connection will be a love story. Sometimes the biggest success is simply surviving a singles mixer with your dignity intact.
