HopeWorks Community Engagement Department

HopeWorks Community Engagement Department

Grounded in transformative cultural change, the HopeWorks' Community Engagement Department (CED) addresses the root causes of sexual and intimate partner violence through primary prevention efforts, tertiary prevention programs, building awareness and cultivating community leadership.

To accomplish our goals, we use an anti-racism/anti-oppression framework; enabling us to address and decrease the root causes of sexual and intimate partner violence, as well as the systems that fuel genocide, racism, transphobia, ageism, poverty, xenophobia, ableism, and other forms of oppression.

We support and partner with others doing anti-oppression work, efforts to achieve healthier relationships and a society where all people are valued.
