Young Women With Heart is a group under the Greater Washington Women’s Board of the American Heart Association, which aims to provide an accessible way for women under the age of 35 to be involved in a charitable organization. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the US, killing nearly twice as many women as cancer each year.

We are thrilled to host our second annual Fall Fundraiser at The Admiral from 12PM-2PM. We look forward to creating a fun and relaxed setting for young professionals to network, while raising money for a good cause. A ticket purchase ($25) will enter attendees into a door prize drawing, thanks to sponsorships from several local businesses. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to the Women’s Board of the American Heart Association to fund the grants that they distribute for heart disease research annually at the Affair of the Heart Luncheon in February.
