One City Schools Inc. (OCS) is the non-profit parent organization 501(c)(3) that serves as the operating entity that owns and manages One City Preschool, One City Elementary School and One City Preparatory Academy. Incorporated in 2014, One City Schools Inc. is overseen by an appointed Board of Directors that is charged with setting the organization’s strategic priorities and supporting the organization in reaching them, including through hiring and evaluating its Chief Executive Officer.

One City Advocates (OCA) is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization established by the Board of Directors and leadership of One City Schools Inc in July 2024. OCA will develop, promote, and advocate for legislation, regulations, government-funded programs, and public policy initiatives that focus on PK-16 education: early childhood education, K-12 education, and equitable access to higher education. It will also engage public officials and the general public to promote awareness and stimulate action relating to these public policy areas.
