Run Montebello Run, a project of Music to Our Soles (501c3), was born in 2020—during one of the most uncertain times in modern history. Founded by Angie Jimenez and Jeff Jimenez. While the pandemic kept many apart, it couldn’t stop us from coming together to prioritize health and community. We created a safe, welcoming space for people to gather and move, physically and collectively.

In 2021, Run Montebello Run proudly launched the Stride for Pride 5K, the first-ever Pride event in the history of Montebello—in collaboration with the City of Montebello. What began as a local wellness initiative has grown into a powerful movement for inclusion, visibility, and unity.
