The Horner Park Advisory Council is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to the enrichment of our community’s parks. Founded in 1989, we work with the Chicago Park District to provide advice and assistance on programming, activities and events as well as capital improvements in five Chicago parks. We accomplish our mission by engaging in positive activities including sponsoring a Saturday Farmers’ Market, funding a new Dog-Friendly Area, free summer concerts, and environmental stewardship.
