Interracial Sisterhood Coalition
The Interracial Sisterhood Coalition unites women across difference to secure our collective safety and freedom.
We gather women of all ethnicities and generations for honest conversation and real connection that changes what's possible. Evenings on the Bay and in Brooklyn. Retreats in beautiful places.
When women unite across difference, we build the collective power to change everything.
Founded by Karen Fleshman, antiracism educator and writer, in San Francisco in 2017. We have held Interracial Sisterhood events online and in person throughout the United States and the Caribbean, including Interracial Sisterhood Retreats in Miami (2023), San Francisco (2024), and Barbados (2025).
For white women ready to unlearn racism and build real trust across difference, we offer Toward Sisterhood, a six-month program. Learn more here.
