But how did Tell Me Why It's Cool Show come into exisitence?

Once upon a time there was a fair maiden named Mary. While her lifelong passion was to be a performer and comedy writer, Mary had to pay the bills. She worked in employee & community engagement at tech companies focused in engineering consulting, innovation, and product development. As a part of these organizations, Mary got pretty good at bringing strangers together and encouraging them to connect on shared interests.

How’d she do this? Well, Mary has an affinity for asking people to “tell me why it’s cool” when discussing career choices or hobbies.

After years of interesting conversations with super smart people, Mary thought that those nerds might like meeting other nerds outside of their private organizations. Thus, Tell Me Why It’s Cool Show was born.
