The TECHE Project is a non-profit organization that works to raise awareness of the ecological, cultural and historic significance of the Bayou Teche Watershed.  We do this be conducting periodic volunteer bayou clean ups and workshops on ecological and historical issues.  We are also the managers of the Bayou Teche Paddle Trail, a nationally recognized water trail (only one in Louisiana).  We are implementing paddle trail amenities along the 130 miles of Bayou Teche, which include full-service trailheads, floating docks, and boat launches.
