XA is the Expanded Animation Research + Practice MFA program in the School of Cinematic Arts at University of Southern California. XA provides a creative environment for visionary artists to explore expanded forms of animation. The program hosts its annual Animation Graduation Showcase "Beyond the Frame" screening and reception every May on the USC campus.
