The Friends of the Nashua Public Library advocate for and raise funds for the Nashua Public Library. Founded in 2005, they raise money every year to sponsor events, museum passes, movies, and programs at the library.

Balin Books, located on Amherst Street, is an independent bookseller in Nashua. They offer the Nashua Reads books at a discount and sell the author's books at the author event.

The Friends and Balin Books often partner together to bring premier authors to the library.
