Heather comes from a background in theater arts and has been exposed to several genres of dance. Following her passion for movement she combines her favorite dance flavors and choreographs AFLOW DANCE that she currently teaches in Truckee,CA. Heather gracefully weaves together a Guided Dance Experience Where Afro Rhythms Are Embodied Through Dynamic Movement, Grounded Grooves & Joyful Flow- Drawing Upon Tribal Drumming, Afro-Inspired Club Styles, And Contemporary Music. She believes group dance is valuable for personal connection, learning for the fun of it, and strenthening mental health in all communities.
