Bhakti Chakora Ashram
Bhakti Chakora Ashram is a community-centered bhakti yoga and meditation center in Seattle’s University District: a welcoming space to slow down, connect, and experience the joy of spiritual community.
We gather throughout the week for musical mantra meditation (kirtan), bhajans and sacred chants, wisdom from India’s ancient spiritual texts, community gatherings, and delicious vegetarian and vegan meals. Whether you’re completely new to meditation and bhakti yoga or have been practicing for years, you’re warmly welcome.
At the heart of BCA is sangha, or spiritual community. Our mission is to create an accessible space where people from all walks of life can explore mantra meditation, Krishna consciousness, the path of bhakti yoga, and the timeless wisdom of the Vedic tradition in a way that is meaningful and alive today.
Bhakti Chakora Ashram works in close connection with Vana Madhuryam USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing and preserving the teachings of pure bhakti passed down through the ancient guru-parampara, or lineage of spiritual teachers.
Our spiritual teacher and guide is Srila Bhaktivedanta Vana Goswami Maharaja, an esteemed Gaudiya Vaisnava monk and teacher from West Bengal, India. Through his guidance, we seek to cultivate a path of genuine devotion rooted in love, compassion, wisdom, humility, and selfless service.
Come as you are. Chant with us, share a meal, meet some beautiful souls, and discover what bhakti is all about.
