Hi, I’m Latoya Johnson, CEO of the Authentic Women Initiative and Equal Beauty Boutique. My mission is to empower and support marginalized women with resources, tools, and guidance. I understand how challenging it can be to overcome obstacles with limited resources, as I grew up in a small town facing the same major challenges. Our initiative provides a safe online space for women to connect, share their stories, and support each other. Our blog offers tips on self-care, mental health, and career development. We also provide online workshops and events to empower women and promote them through our boutique’s social media channels.

I am excited to announce that we will be hosting a women's empowerment events with a unique twist. The event will require attendees to wear masks as a symbol of their past hurt and pain. The aim of the event is to help women shed their hurt and pain, and unlock the potential within them that is unstoppable. As someone who has faced similar challenges and overcame them, I believe it is essential to provide a safe space where women can come together, share their experiences, and support each other. This event is an opportunity to do just that, and I am thrilled to be merely a vessel of it.
