Who We Are

Build Green Connecticut is a statewide organization, built upon a rich history of people coming together as early as 2001, drawn by an interest and commitment to rethink how buildings are designed and constructed. BuildGreenCT, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member-driven organization, is the joined forces of the Connecticut Green Building Council (CTGBC), Connecticut Passive House (CTPH), and Living Future Connecticut. Our new identity reflects that we are a unified organization and our shared aspirations for Connecticut.

Our vision is a healthy, resilient, equitable built environment that supports the ability for people, communities, and the planet to thrive.
