Pride in the Park – Gig Harbor is an annual community celebration held at Skansie Park that brings together LGBTQIA+ community members, allies, families, and local organizations for a day of joy, visibility, and connection. Founded by a small group of local volunteers, the event was created to ensure that LGBTQIA+ people in our smaller town have a safe, welcoming space to gather, celebrate identity, and build community. Pride in the Park continues to grow each year through grassroots support, local partnerships, and the shared belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and included.

The Rainbow Roller Disco is a lively, all-ages spring fundraiser that helps make Pride in the Park possible. Hosted at the Key Peninsula Civic Center, the event features roller skating, games, performances, a pop-up marketplace, a bake sale, a silent auction, and more. With colorful disco vibes and community-centered fun, the Rainbow Roller Disco raises essential funds for permits, entertainment, safety, and programming for Pride in the Park while bringing people together for an evening of celebration and connection.
