LAFD Battalion 2 is located in the Northeast region of the City of Los Angeles. Eight Fire Stations situated across 65 square miles support 670,000 residents. Northeast Los Angeles is comprised of residential and light industrial areas in the hills east of the Los Angeles River. Battalion 2 is located in LAFD Central Bureau. The communities of Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Hermon, Monterey Hills, Sycamore Grove, El Sereno, Montecito Heights, Mt. Washington, Cypress Park, Glassell Park, Lincoln Heights and Atwater Village are served by the dedicated firefighters of Battalion 2.
