Tony Ho, MSW, RSW | Sleep Therapist

Tony Ho, MSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker, sleep therapist and insomnia coach based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

He helps people better understand sleep, reduce sleep anxiety and step out of the cycle of trying harder to sleep. His work is especially focused on chronic insomnia, racing thoughts at bedtime, frequent waking, stress-related sleep difficulties and the pressure many people feel to make sleep happen.

Tony’s approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Insomnia. He translates sleep science into clear, practical strategies that people can use in everyday life.

His workshops are designed to feel accessible, supportive and useful. Rather than offering another long list of sleep hygiene rules, Tony helps participants understand what may be keeping sleep difficult and how to respond with less struggle and more flexibility.

Depending on the event, participants may learn about:

• The science of sleep and the stress-sleep cycle

• Why trying harder can make sleep feel more difficult

• Racing thoughts and worry at bedtime

• Sleep pressure and circadian rhythms

• Waking during the night

• Sleep anxiety and fear of not sleeping

• Rest, mindfulness and body-based practices

• Practical strategies drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia

• Acceptance-based approaches to difficult nights

Tony offers educational workshops, community events and collaborative wellness experiences for adults who want practical support with sleep, stress and rest.

Events are educational and experiential. They do not replace individualized medical, psychological or sleep-disorder assessment or treatment.
