Dr. Victoria Barbosa is a board-certified dermatologist, an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Chicago and the Director of The Hair Loss Program and the Dermatology Section Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee there. She is a cosmetics industry veteran having spent seven years at L’Oréal where she rose to the level of vice president in research and development. She then went on to open a successful private practice where her outstanding care has now earned her the distinction of being named to Chicago Magazine’s list of Top Doctors seven times. She is a sought-after lecturer at national and international meetings, has published textbook chapters and original research, has co-edited a textbook on dermatology in skin of color, and has co-authored a book on skin care. She has appeared on local television segments and radio broadcasts and has been quoted in several national magazine and newspaper articles.
