The Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society (NESACS) is one of the largest local sections of the American Chemical Society, representing nearly 6,500 chemists, researchers, educators, students, and industry professionals throughout the New England region. Based in the Greater Boston area, NESACS serves as a hub for scientific exchange, professional development, and community engagement in the chemical sciences.

NESACS hosts monthly section meetings, typically held on the second Thursday of each month from September through May in the Boston area. These meetings feature invited speakers, scientific lectures, networking opportunities, and discussions highlighting advances in chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, materials science, and related fields.
