Danielle Callegari is a professor of Italian studies at Dartmouth College and a writer at large for Wine Enthusiast covering Tuscany and Southern Italy. In addition to many articles in both academic and trade publications, she is the author of the book “Dante’s Gluttons: Food and Society from the Convivio to the Comedy”. She is also the co-host of the Italian food and beverage podcast “Gola” with Rome-based culinary journalist and award-winning cookbook author Katie Parla.
