Founded in New York, Normal is best known for Not-A-Normal Show, its large-scale curated shopping experience bringing together independent designers, vintage dealers, artists, makers, collectors, and creative businesses from New York and around the world.

Since 2024, Not-A-Normal Show has reimagined some of New York City’s most distinctive spaces through independent retail, including the former Barneys New York, One Hanson Place, Manhattan Mall, Union Square, and more. Each show brings together a highly curated mix across fashion, jewelry, accessories, furniture, home, art, beauty, wellness, and objects, creating an experience built around discovery and direct connection between independent businesses and their audiences.

At the center of Normal’s mission is creating meaningful physical platforms for independent businesses to be discovered, build community, generate economic opportunity, and grow.
