How did we get here?

Hi! I'm Savannah, I'm 24 years old, and I opened Easy Little Plants when I was 21 using money I'd saved up from my old job as a shopkeeper at a houseplant store. As a kid, I loved drawing, catching bugs, caring for pets, taking photos, and making crafts. I was always starting all sorts of projects. My shop is like a huge culmination of all that curiosity and the courage to keep on trying new things, whether I'm good at them or not. When I first started gardening I was NOT good at plants. I kept going and learned a bunch! It's wonderful to share what I've learned with everybody and help them on their path to creating their very own plant-filled cozy space. I'm lowkey really interested in interior design- it's what my mom did for over a decade! Let me help you decorate and pick out plants!

ADHD awareness!

Fun fact: I have ADHD and autism! When I first learned I had ADHD, I was in 6th grade. I ended up having to go to special schools with better accommodations, so I could stay organized. I started as a really quiet kid, and with more and more opportunities to talk about my interests, I became really outgoing and good at talking to people. I used to think these challenges meant I was built to fail, but that's not true! I think it's super important to talk about things like that so people don't have to feel so alone. It makes me so happy hearing kids go "I have ADHD too!" with a big smile on their face. It's important to know there's still a place for everyone to belong, even if you have some extra challenges. You've got this and you're not alone!

What in the heck even is this place?

The shop is a magical world of animals, plants, and cuteness overload! People always talk about how there's so much to see and how they could keep looking around for hours and hours. It's a super welcoming place that's ADHD-friendly and autism-friendly. It's kinda like a nature center, a workshop and birthday party space, and a plant shop all combined! It's a place that adults and kids of all ages can enjoy.

I'm more than happy to answer all your plant and axolotl questions! I love to show people all the things that make the shop so fun and special. People say I'm really patient with kids, but honestly, I just love seeing people happy and enthusiastic. I'm happy to have created a place where everyone can explore, learn, ask questions, and make happy memories! Come stop by when you can, ok? You'll definitely wanna meat the baby axolotls.
