The Briermost Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women recovering from substance use disorders by providing safe, affordable, and recovery-oriented housing and the support needed to build healthy, independent lives. Established in 2014 to address the critical shortage of quality housing for women leaving treatment, incarceration, homelessness, and other unstable living situations, Briermost offers much more than a safe place to live. Through peer support, individualized recovery planning, life and workforce development opportunities, and meaningful community connections, women are given the tools, encouragement, and stability needed to strengthen their recovery, achieve greater self-sufficiency, and pursue long-term wellness and a hopeful future.
