My name is Sarah C. Boothby, president of the Filipino American Samahan of Maine, a non-profit organization founded on November 18, 2021. Our mission is to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans living in Maine. Our aim is to strengthen the community ties by engaging members in cultural, charitable, and educational activities. We strive to foster a better understanding and appreciation of Filipino culture and traditions among all members of the community. We hosted social and educational events.
