"The Alpha Leagues is a positive youth development program designed to introduce young people to the best traditions of Greek organization culture. The program allows them to serve their community while learning to lead with integrity. Our purpose is simple! To create positive youth development opportunities and life experiences rooted in leadership, scholarship, service, character, teamwork, culture, in addition to building lifelong brotherhood and sisterhood. The program focuses on youths ages 11 to 18, with some programs available to other ages. Our program is a place that builds confidence, develops good academic habits, practices communication skills, and teaches the value of accountability and service."

Founder Barbara Davis, as a woman of color and single mother, with 4 adult daughters and 11 grandchildren, Her desire and focus remain guiding young girls and other young people to become strong women and leaders in their communities. Her love for education and youth development over the past 25 years has led her to the formation of Alpha Female League Inc [DBA The Alpha Leagues], where she can not only fulfil her calling as an educator and leader but fulfil her purpose in helping to grow and nourish others.
