Established in 1942, the Iredell County Health Department has worked hard for over 70 years to serve our citizens. We are funded through a combination of Federal, State, and County money. County Commissioners have appointed an eleven-member Board of Health representatives to govern our operations. We provide a variety of clinical health care services, screening, informational programs, counseling, and education on disease prevention; In addition to, dental care and nutrition services available to all citizens of Iredell County.
