The Merritt Island Wildlife Association (MIWA) is the 501(c) (3) non-profit friend’s organization partnered with the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex. This complex includes the Merritt Island, Saint John's and Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuges.

Our purpose is to promote conservation, awareness, and appreciation of these Refuges and to provide assistance to Refuge programs.
