About CIVA

Established in 1963, CIVA represents all the wineries within the Alsace region of France that have a protected designation of origin (AOC) status. The Alsace wine region spans 15,500 hectares and brings together 700 winegrowers and wineries. Renowned as a pioneering leader in appellation white and sparkling wines (excluding Champagne), it is also highly regarded for its organic and biodynamic viticulture.
