Through collaboration with an interdisciplinary and interprofessional leadership team, the Department of Sociology and Public Health leads, develops, and advances signature university experiences, including IPEX, STMUHELPS, and the Public Health Case Competition. These experiences bring students, professionals, faculty, and community partners together to learn across disciplines, apply knowledge to real-world challenges, and develop the collaborative leadership skills needed to create meaningful change and advance the common good in San Antonio and beyond.
