Hi! I’m Marea Goodman, LM, CPM (they/them). I’m a licensed midwife who specializes in supporting the LGBTQ+ community throughout conception, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I love being a midwife and supporting folks through what I think is some of the most important work in the world— creating and nourishing the next generation.

I got my midwifery license from the California Medical Board in 2015 and founded my midwifery practice, Restore Midwifery, in 2016 in the Bay Area.

I’m also the co-author of the book, Baby Making for Everybody—Fertility and Family Building for LGBTQ+ and Solo Parents, and the founder of PregnantTogether— an amazing community supporting queer folks and allies through trying to conceive (TTC), pregnancy, and postpartum.

I’m deeply passionate about empowering people with the information they need and deserve to grow their families, and building community. I’m also a queer parent of three awesome kids, living in Santa Cruz, CA.
