(Building Employment Strategies Through Networking on Wellness) provides leadership development, empowerment, and support for people with mental health and/or substance use recovery experience who are interested in joining the behavioral health field as Peer Support Specialists within California" At BestNow! we believe in helping peers not only become Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists through our training program and lived experience, but also assist with volunteer/internship opportunities, career counseling, and coaching/support. BestNow offers monthly study guide sessions to help peers prepare to take the California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist exam. We also offer Continuing Education Units for Peer Support Specialists.
