Centro Asturiano de Tampa
Founded in 1902, the Centro Asturiano de Tampa is one of Ybor City’s most treasured historic landmarks and cultural institutions. Established by immigrants from Asturias, Spain, the organization served as a center for community, culture, healthcare, and support for generations of members and their families.
Today, the Centro continues that legacy by preserving its historic building while serving as a vibrant gathering place for the community through cultural programming, educational experiences, special events, and celebrations. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Centro welcomes guests to experience the rich history, architecture, and traditions that have shaped both the organization and Ybor City for more than 120 years.
Through every event, the Centro remains committed to preserving the past while creating meaningful experiences for future generations.
