Minds with Motion, LLC

“Minds with Motions” It is a vibrant program designed to bring mindfulness, movement, body awareness, rhythmic percussion, and visual arts into our community. Through these activities, we create joyful opportunities for people to connect and engage. We have community involvement as we host events in spaces like coffee shops, outdoors in nature, and in the peaceful ambiance of the libraries. These spaces give hope for connection, and we want to share moments. We offer art, movement, drumming, and mindful practices that inspire creative expression as we have fun.

For over 15 years, we have been dedicated to supporting children with diverse abilities and their families and friends. We hope to share Awareness, Acceptance, and Action for autism, neurodiversity, and individuals with unique learning needs. We believe in spreading joy, engaging with smiles, and creating pathways for everyone to engage in meaningful experiences.

As a socially engaged artist, Wanda Lee uses public speaking to highlight important societal issues. Through her art, she addresses topics such as Autism, Mental Health, HS disease, ALS, and Suicide Awareness, building deep connections that bridge the inner and outer worlds. Wanda draws inspiration from the rhythm of life itself—from every heartbeat and breath to the connection between nature and urban spaces. This inspiration flows into diverse activities such as Walks, forest bathing, Recreational Music Making (RMM) with HealthRhythms Remo Drums, reiki, meditations, community art projects, storytelling, painting, dance, and more. At the heart of all these experiences are mindfulness, compassion, empathy, and love.

Wanda believes that each person is a living work of art, contributing to a greater collective beauty. We are currently exploring new avenues for connection, including our “Table Talk Film” and “We Are All Threaded As We WALK Project” (WALK—Whimsically Aligned Loving Kindness Experience), where we collaborate with community members and organizations. Additionally, we continue to host the #Wander in May, along with #YouthMentalHealthFirstAid training. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and opportunities! We can connect with you in person or via Zoom—whichever you prefer!
