Hi, my name Jonathan van Halem. I’m a stand-up comedian based out of Brooklyn, and I work at Stephen Colbert Presents: Tooning Out The News.

I host a couple of monthly comedy shows. First is a stand-up show, Hot Gossip, that I host with my pal Michael Abber at Pine Box Rock Shop in Bushwick. Second is a litany of variety shows at Caveat about different topics that interest me (the next one being about the hit CBS show Survivor). I also did a temporary trial run as a Clickhole contributor in 2022/2023, in which I sold exactly one headline.

When I’m not doing comedy, I’m patiently waiting for the New York Mets to win the World Series. My favorite Family Guy character is Stewie.
