Hi! I'm Lana Quann, watercolor artist from SouthCoast Ma. I created my business, The Wandering Brush in 2018 to share my watercolor journey. All of my works are original compositions created from hikes, kayaks and explorations between Southcoast Massachusetts to DownEast Maine where I have a cabin for over 20 years. My subject matter can be a memory or a moment while out exploring nature, snippets of common life that I attempt to express using watercolor and a variety of water mediums. I have been fortunate to teach watercolor lessons to a variety of groups for over 3 years and my approach uses a set of "rules" or guidelines to take the fear out of watercolor and to demonstrate how to go between controlling the paint to letting it go and be playful. All classes are beginner friendly, materials included and often there are visual and take-home educational materials.
