Non-profit association that preserves and promote Walt Whitman's voice and ideals today. The WWBA manages Walt Whitman's Birthplace which is a state historic site and interpretive center which allows visitors to delve more deeply into Whitman's poetry and sponsors events and activities for the public that celebrate Whitman's vision of democracy, diversity and creativity.
