The Monte Rio Theater and Extravaganza is a historic single screen movie theater housed in a World War II era Quonset hut. It presents movies and hosts a wide range of music and community gatherings from its perch on the banks of the Russian River in Monte Rio, CA (Sonoma County).

Fun fact: the largest extant piece of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's Running Fence drapes the ceiling of the theater's auditorium!
