cmntx records is a New York City-based label committed to supporting artists with distinctive, multifaceted outputs. cmntx was founded in 2021 by four composers whose backgrounds didn't simply fit into just the "classical" tradition, and sought to help document the work of other non-traditional artists in our community. Our projects often cross lines and limitations of genre, aesthetic, and medium.
