My internet alias is Lyght Hayris and I am a cybersecurity professional with over a decade of experience protecting business applications and personal data across industries including telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, and insurance. Through my work in application and product security, I've come to the conclusion: the greatest risk to internet users isn't just hackers, it's their own lack of understanding how to properly navigate and use the internet. We all were handed the internet, but not the manual. We don't know what belongs and doesn't belong, we don't know what we own and what we don't own. We also don't understand, as users, that we are all digital citizens. I want to correct that. I want to ensure we all use the internet safely, even if no one told us how.

So I started Digitally Safer. An organization dedicated to running webinars and seminars that help individuals learn about the safety of the internet in practical steps. No influencer mumbo jumbo.
