ABOUT NASHVILLE HISTORICAL FOUNDATION

The Nashville Historical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit friends group which assists the Metro Historical Commission in its efforts to identify, protect, study and interpret the rich history of Nashville. The Foundation was founded in 2013 to support activities of the Commission not covered in the City budget. The goal of the organization is to help preserve historic sites and educate residents and visitors about the city’s history and architecture. Nashville Historical Foundation was formerly known as Metro Historical Commission Foundation.
