Keahi Forbes Brown is from Arizona & currently lives in Pflugerville, Texas. She initially learned about art from Tohono O’Odham clay & basket weaving artists, as well as exploring textile arts with her grandmother. Her ceramics education continued throughout her high school years. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN with a Studio Art major, concentration in Ceramics, & an all level art teacher certification. She has taught elementary art for 30+ years in public schools.

Keahi offers private wheel throwing & hand building clay classes & camps out of her home studio. She makes colorful, textured functional wheel thrown pieces that she sells at art fairs throughout the Austin area and online.
