Baryo Brooklyn
Baryo Brooklyn: a Public Program Series on Filipino History in Brooklyn is curated by Claro de los Reyes, a 2026 Brooklyn Arts Council grantee. This program series has acquired community partnerships from Filipino American National Historical Society - Metro New York, The People Creative Institute, Brooklyn Public Library / Center for Brooklyn History, Unassimilated Walking Tours, Atlantic Pacific Theatre, and Hi-ARTS. It is supported by the Brooklyn Arts Council and the Laundromat Project.
Baryo Brooklyn is made possible by public funds from the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the Statewide Community Regrants Program, as well as from a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the New York State Legislature, both administered by Brooklyn Arts Council.
This project is supported by The Laundromat Project through the Create & (Re)Connect Fund.
