Tandem’s mission is to improve perinatal health experiences and outcomes through innovative programs and services, holistic support, and community building.

We were founded in February 2020 and have grown from virtual childbirth education classes in the pandemic to serving over 600 unique families in South Central Indiana in 2025 with comprehensive wrap around supportive services in pregnancy and postpartum. We operate a Perinatal Resource Hub, a “Postpartum House” the first of its kind in the country, and offer in-home Postpartum Doula services in 7 counties, as well as a family transportation program.
