New Jersey Center for Teaching & Learning (NJCTL)
NJCTL, founded in 2007 by NJEA, NJ’s largest union of public school employees, is an online graduate school of education authorized by the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education and programmatically accredited by AAQEP.
NJCTL’s goal is to provide all students access to the high-quality, well-prepared teachers they deserve. NJCTL is accomplishing this by expanding the number of teachers in high-need areas such as special education, early childhood education, science, mathematics, and computer science and providing all teachers with access to free, editable K to AP teaching resources to support their students.
New Jersey Center for Teaching and Learning has been recognized as a Candidate for Accreditation by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), 1080 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 500, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001. This status is a preliminary affiliation with the Commission awarded for a maximum period of five years. Candidacy is an indication that the institution is progressing toward Accreditation. Candidacy is not Accreditation and does not ensure eventual Accreditation.
