Fred Swann Concert Series

Each year, St. Margaret’s sponsors a concert series in the church sanctuary that brings world class musicians – choral and instrumental – to the Coachella Valley. The 2026-27 Season marks the inauguration of The Fred Swann Concert Series, in honor and memory of St. Margaret’s renown and beloved Organist in Residence.

The Fred Swann series will highlight St. Margaret’s Quimby organ, and celebrate the sanctuary space, as we welcome two nationally and internationally recognized choral groups, the Clare College Choir and the St. Olaf Choir. Instrumental concerts include groups such as Salastina, a premier chamber music ensemble, an organ and brass concert with David Christopher, St. Margaret’s Organist and Music Director, and Craig Phillips, conducting, We round out the series with two world-class organists in concert individually: Nicole Keller and Clark Wilson.
