Founded in 2015, Interaction Advisory Group (IAG) helps first responders better understand and respond to people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other disabilities.

Our training turns that understanding into practical actions that officers, firefighters, EMS professionals, and other first responders can use in the field. We cover behavioral recognition, communication, sensory influences, de-escalation, and search and rescue for individuals who wander.

IAG was co-founded by Dustin Chandler, a former police officer, licensed paramedic, and father of a daughter with a severe developmental disability.

Since 2015, we have brought professional experience and a family perspective together to help first responders approach challenging interactions with greater awareness, patience, and confidence.
