NOACHC was created to preserve, promote, present and make accessible the arts and cultural heritage of New Orleans and the great American art form – Jazz. Through the Louis Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp, the Committee seeks to further its mission by working to improve and encourage arts education for young people, develop the next generation of jazz artists, augment the lack of arts education in schools, and foster great appreciation for Jazz through programs and educational services that transform the lives of children.
