Georgia Reash

Georgia is a contract advisor, planner and writing consultant to institutions, businesses and projects. Her passion is to guide leaders in creating and operationalizing strategic visions into action through solid strategy, powerful story, grounded management, and sound team. Since 1997, Georgia has worked with over 225 clients providing backbone support in grant writing, strategic visioning, business advising, leadership building, fund raising, and linkage to financing networks.

Among her achievements is the collaborative development of multiple community improvement projects, including serving as the manager of the largest municipal energy grant program in the U.S., raising the bar of climate accountability across Northeast Ohio. Through her network of experts and partners, teamed support is provided to fulfill client growth goals.

As President of BrightSpot Communities LLC, Georgia has been a pioneering developer of affordable housing and sustainable communities and revitalization projects since 2002. She serves as a ‘City of Tomorrow’ thought leader and believes strongly in building and rebuilding communities focused on whole healing and environmental and social equity across all levels of human and habitat ecosystems.

Complimenting Georgia’s work is her recognized work as an artist, poet, playwright and author in trauma healing and trauma community education. Since 2000, she has developed a broad range of workshops, conferences, and events that raise awareness and further social justice through the power of the arts.
