Friends of Rouge Park

The Friends of Rouge Park (FORP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 by people passionate about the future of the City of Detroit’s largest park. Rouge Park is located on the far west side of Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. We develop partnerships with community stakeholders and park user groups to advocate for the maintenance, improvement and protection of the natural and recreational amenities of the park. We sponsor and co-sponsor volunteer work days, events and activities.
